Let's make some introductions

My name is Jim Butler, and I started Butler Leadership Services in 2023 after more than 30 years of leadership in the corporate world. Twenty-eight of those years were with an international company working with people all over the world. Leadership is my passion, and my goal is to help leaders and teams build skills to achieve excellence in their roles. I find nothing more exciting in my professional life than to work with someone who has unrealized potential and watch them takeoff to become their absolute best.

In my personal life, I have been married to my wife, Teresa, since 1991. We have three adult kids, McKenzie, Logan, and Ryleigh, and two grandkids. Family has always been important to me, and it's through them that I have developed my philosophy on both life and leadership.

Philosophies

• My leadership philosophy centers around servant leadership. I believe a leader's job is to serve their team so the team can achieve success. The success of the leader is measured by the success of the team.

• Much can be accomplished through the development of genuine relationships. When we care about each other as individuals, we work together to be successful.

• I believe that kindness is in short supply. Through kindness, we can deliver stronger results and know that we are making a difference in people's lives.

My life is governed by four simple principles. I commit that I will strive to:

I commit to my clients that I will always listen to get at the heart of what they want to accomplish. I will always follow through, and I will always work in their best interest.
